Volunteer/Intern

The next tour for prospective volunteers/interns is on Thursday, August 10th at 10am. Contact Volunteer coordinator Stephanie Petro-McLellan at stephanie.petro@rhd.org 610 642 9101 x 113.
Volunteers play a vital role at the Center for Creative Works for their ability to assist our artists and staff and also to help maintain the organization of our heavily trafficked studio sections. Volunteers quickly become active participants in the routine of our center and we value the various skills and contributions volunteers bring to us. We do our best to match your skills and interests with our needs. We offer thorough training on how to work with our artists and what you can do to help when you are here.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please fill out a Volunteer/ Intern Application and bring it with you to our next volunteer tour. Because we are a licensed facility, we also require a recent physical and TB screening for our documentation purposes.
Due to a high volume of inquiries we are not always able to respond to all emails and calls, but we will be happy to answer questions you have during the Volunteer Tour. We hope to see you soon!
Interns We have ongoing internships and collaborations with students from: Jefferson University, the University of the Sciences, Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Moore College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, Springside School, Friends Select School, Boys’ Latin of Philadelphia, Harriton High School, and Masterman. We provide training and supervision for students, complete required paperwork and do our best to match skills and interests with our needs.
If you are interested in proposing an internship at the center please complete our Volunteer/Intern application and contact Stephanie Petro-McClellan.
