Painting / Drawing

Most of our participants begin their exploration of art through drawing, and it is development in this medium that allows them to create their signature aesthetic. Instruction for work on paper and canvas includes graphite, colored pencil, crow quill pen & ink, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache, as well as a variety of mixed-media technique.

Our artists' work in painting and drawing has been widely exhibited, and recently featured at the Woodmere Museum, Fleisher/Ollman Gallery, and Vox Populi Gallery.
