music

Exposure to and engagement with music is an integral part of our programming. Through composition and performance, artists are encouraged to explore new avenues of personal expression. In 2016 CCW completed the construction of a music studio, a fully-equipped recording space that our participant artists actively use to record new compositions and experiment with different modes of music-making. The studio will soon be open for community rental, and we will be inviting local musicians to rent the space.

Collaborations with Outside Sound have brought CCW art and music to the Philadelphia Free Library and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Check out our Bandcamp Page, which features new compositions created by our artists, including our 2014 full-lenth album, Space is a Boogie.
