Cassie Flanagan

At the CCW studio, Cassie is known as a jack-of-all-trades, with broad interests and an infectious, engaging personality. She works as part of the CCW Teacher Corps, which involves teaching woodshop skills and projects using CCW’s accessible woodshop tools – in the past year this has included graduate students at Moore College of Art, groups of students from Haverford College, and fifth graders from a bilingual afterschool program in Norristown. In 2018 she recorded her first full-length album, "Soul Shoe" on CCW’s record label, Pop! Pop! Pop! Records, and performed selections from it at a release event at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Cassie is also a talented crotchet and needlepoint artist, and is currently working on a line of embroidered pillows to sell at our annual winter Open House. She lives in Norristown with her family.
