Cassie Flanagan (b. 1995) joined Center for Creative Works in 2025. She works at our Wynnewood studio. Flanagan’s mesmerizing patterns and bold designs distinguish her abstract work. She lets her mind wander as she stitches “doodles” across fabric or paints compositions of layered colors and shapes. Flanagan embraces all twists and turns in her art-making process. When she starts a new piece, she does not know how it will turn out. However, that anticipation is what makes art exciting for Flanagan and motivates her to create.
