Cassie Flanagan (b. 1995) joined Center for Creative Works in 2025. She works at our Wynnewood studio. Flanagan’s mesmerizing patterns and bold designs distinguish her abstract work. She lets her mind wander as she stitches echoing ripples across fabric or paints layered compositions of color and shape. Flanagan embraces every twist and turn in her art-making process and considers the limitless possibilities of each medium. When she starts a new piece, she does not know how it will turn out. However, that anticipation is what makes art exciting for Flanagan and motivates her to create.
