Doug Tan

Doug Tan is driven, vigorous and exuberant about his mark-making and layering technique. His work is mostly mixed media on paper or board, incorporating multiple methods of material application into each individual composition. For a recent solo exhibition in CCW’s in-house gallery, Tan completed his first wall painting, a nine-foot composition created with a range of house paints, wax crayon, and ink.  In three dimensional work, Tan’s focus is arranging elements into specific ordered sets, a stark contrast to his 2D work.

Doug lives in Berwyn, PA. He has been making art at CCW for over five years.
