Natasha Plaza (b. 1994) began working at CCW in 2018. Her style combines high impact pop art with delicate, romantic linework, giving it a fantastical, dreamlike appeal to graphic, illustrated elements. Focusing largely on natural subject matter – particularly florals – Plaza works both with photographic images and from her imagination. 

In 2019 Plaza participated in a rug tufting workshop with textile artist Tim Eads, where she created several floral-themed rugs later featured in the exhibition RUGLAND at ArtYard (Frenchtown, NJ). Later that year she participated in a collaborative project with the Philadelphia Ballet, dancing in a recital at the World Music Café. In 2021 one of Plaza’s original drawings was turned into a series of products produced by Urban Outfitters, including a hat, a pair of shorts, and a t-shirt. Plaza’s work was part of Yo Melbourne! We’re From Philly (curated by Alex Baker of Fleisher/Ollman) at Arts Project Australia in Melbourne and is currently on view at the Jamestown Art Center (Jamestown, RI) as part of the exhibition Outsider Art: Harnessing Color. She has previously worked at SpArc Philadelphia, and lives in Philadelphia with her family.
