Working with clay provides an opportunity for our participant artists to experiment with tactile creation. Whether developing fine motor skills through hand-building techniques or creating unique motifs for surface design with professional glazes, artists expand their range and repertoire through clay. Our artists create functional products, fine art and sculpture pieces.

We work with earthenware, terracotta, stoneware (and soon) raku clay bodies. We foster the development of a range of building techniques: coil, pinch, slab, wheel, slumping, draping and slip-casting. And encourage the use of a range of colour and decoration techniques: Nerikomi, Agatework, Mishima, Sgrafitto and transfer glazing to name a few.

Our ceramics is available for sale and exhibition opportunities.
